Post Error in file :\Boot\BCD
Hi all,

I'm trying to use the wintoflash to install the windows 7 on my computer, but i keep getting the following error when
the system boots from the flash disk.

Error in file : \Boot\BCD
Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.

The strange thing is that it worked perfectly on my laptop and i only got this problem on my desktop computer.

thx!

Check your PC documentation - you need to turn USB-HDD mode on for this USB pen.

Post Re: BCD error
thats the thing,

My pc sees the USB drive as an HDD, and I can select it for booting.
I also configured it as a HDD drive in my BIOS and it shows up as HDD.
But when it accesses the USB-Pen it gives this error.
Very strange...

Try to use FAT32 CHS, not default FAT32 LBA.

I also tried that, but it gives the same error.
I also tried the FAT16 CHS and LBA,
They all provide the same error.
