Post WinToFlash Pro Doesn't Recognize Win 7 Recovery Disks
I was recommended to get WintoFlash by a Lenovo support engineer to put 4 factory restore DVDs on to a USB drive, so that I do not need to carry 4 DVDs and it would also be faster without having to unload and load 4 different DVDs. When I tried this on my notebook, WintoFlash did not recognize my Lenovo recovery DVDs. I've tried looking in the message board but did not find anything. Please can you give me some pointers as to what I do next?

Wow, we have no idea how to work with Lenovo recovery DVDs. Maybe you can share ISO images with us? We need to examine your particular images to suggest a solution.

Upd:
I think, if Lenovo uses WinPE, you can try to use WinPE transfer in the advanced mode.

I've tried uploading the ISO for the last 3 days! It is 4.3GB in size! Ive tried Advanced; WinPE Vista/2008/7/8, WinPE XP/2003, and then all the other options right down to Hiren's Boot CD. How else can I send you the ISO? what else can I try?

I've now been trying to upload the ISO file for nearly 2 weeks now but the "The upload is currently in progress" window has been up for 2 days and your site is still not taking the upload. What else can I do to get the ISO to you?

hello!

Are you trying to upload ISO to this forum? This is very bad idea, uploads here is only for small file like images or documents...
Please use SkyDrive, Dropbox or something, i.e. service created for huge files.

I get this error when trying to transfer my Windows 7 DVD to to flash USB. I've repeated the process a few times even with a different USB flash stick but get the same error. When can this be fixed?

This is because of antivirus, it deletes this file. You can continue without it, it's not important.

OK. I've tried this out and it boots in to Windows 7 installation, but Windows 7 installation says it can't find the files and then I need to load the DVD anyway. I thought it would get all the necessary files from the USB flash drive? What have I missed here?

Did you see warning or error in WinToFlash log about those files?

No, the only error from WinToFlash was not being able to copy Autorun like I mentioned before, but I was told that this was not an issue.

So, did you copy all other DVDs manually to your USB Drive? It's important because they contain all recovery images.
