You need to have atleast 1 gb space for the program to run properly and it wont be corrupted.

But does someone tried it on windows 7?

WinXP Pro SP2 (32 bit) OEM CD install
uses 3.11 GB of hard disk space on my desktop.
SP3 and all MS Updates enlarge it to a wopping 11 GB.

I bought a 32 GB PNY flash drive for $20 at WalMart
and WinToFlash enabled me to successfully
INSTALL Windows FROM the flash drive to a hard disk.

I haven't tried installing Windows TO the flash drive,
but with good 32 GB flash drives this cheap
that is of course my next goal.

I wish I could just trick the INSTALL CD to use
the flash drive as the target hard disk but
don't know all of the technical hurdles to that.
