Post cannot install windows! really need help!
i wiped my netbook with DBAN, then i used WinToFlash to put my WinXP disc on a flash drive, so i can install windowsXP (my netbook has no CD drive).

when i boot the netbook up with the USB drive, it gives me a black screen with options:

1. text mode set up (boot from flash again after finished)
2. GUI mode setup, continue set up + 1st start of windows
--->DEBUG, in case of HAL.DLL or NTOSKRNL.EXE not found<---
then it continues to list a buncha "debugboot rdisk # partition #

i choose the 2nd option because that means to normally set up windows, right? because the first option sounds like making windows bootable from the USB all the time and thats not what i want.

well, after pressing it, it gives me this error:

Quote:
Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.

Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.

Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information.

i am at a loss to what i am doing or supposed to do. i really need help!!!!!
