Five Suggestions for the White-Collars to Eliminate Fatigue
Breakfast, known by most as Turmeric with BioPerine the most important meal of the day, literally "breaks" the period of fasting that everyone experiences while asleep. Even in sleep the body rebuilds and re-energizes, making the replenishment of nutrition all the more important upon waking. Eating a good breakfast based on the athlete's individual diet plan ensures the body has enough energy to face the day without feeling sluggish. Not only will athletes perform better on the field with a balanced breakfast in their system, but they will also perform better in the classroom, experiencing more focus and concentration than their breakfast-deprived peers.
If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then lunch can surely be considered the most overlooked. With the low cost of fast food, a burger and fries might seem quick and convenient, but it does little in the way of supporting an athlete's performance. A healthier alternative to a burger and fries is lean lunchmeat on whole grains or a salad with pieces of lean meat and a low or non-fat dressing.
Dinner, the final full meal of the day, provides nutrition for the body following a day of work, school, and/or sports practice. Young athletes who play sports after school usually burn up the calories from lunch on the field, leaving the body drained and in need of replenishment. A nutritionally balanced meal at dinner helps the body recover from the day and provides the body with enough sustenance to properly rest at night.
In addition to meals, athletes should always have some healthy snacks on hand. This will help keep the body fueled in between meals. Fruit, nuts, cheese and whole grain baked crackers are some good examples of healthy snacks.Contrary to popular belief, sweets and sugars do not need to be completely eliminated from an athlete's diet for the athlete to perform at peak condition. In fact, denying the body of sweets and sugars for too long can result in binge eating. Instead, athletes should incorporate the occasional slice of cake or scoop of ice cream into their balanced diet, to keep sugar cravings under control and nutritional plans intact.
